According to the report, Fifield recounted Platner’s reaction as playful, saying he would act “cute about it, like ‘Oh sneaky me.’”

These new allegations follow Fifield’s previous claims of physical misconduct during their relationship. She had previously stated that Platner sometimes left marks on her body from grabbing her forcefully and recounted an incident where he twisted her arm, pushed her into a bedroom, and held the door shut until she “calmed down.” Platner’s campaign has reportedly dismissed these latest claims as “categorically false and politically motivated.” Fifield, a former employee of The Heritage Foundation, had previously had her earlier concerns characterized by Platner’s supporters as politically motivated.

Racicot described the encounter as forceful, stating, “I remember him grabbing my pelvis and being really forceful of me,” and recalled a moment where she realized, “This is no longer my choice.” She stated this occurred while Platner was “almost blackout drunk” in Washington, D.C.
