Kelly Osbourne radiated confidence as she showcased a striking white, corseted swimsuit during a recent sun-drenched yacht excursion. The television personality, sharing a series of photos on Instagram, presented a vintage-inspired one-piece featuring elegant mesh detailing. Her caption, “Serving sea, sun, and zero apologies,” underscored a message of self-assurance and unapologetic presence.

Osbourne complemented her nautical ensemble with a collection of gold necklaces, a broad-brimmed straw hat, and chic black cat-eye sunglasses adorned with spike accents and rose-tinted lenses. The ensemble evoked a timeless glamour, drawing immediate admiration from her followers.

Fan Acclaim and Support

The comments section of Osbourne’s post quickly filled with enthusiastic praise. Fans lauded her style, with one user describing her look as “1950’s diva vibes.” Others offered heartfelt compliments, calling her “Absolutely positively gorgeous!” and “an amazing, strong, stunning person.” Many expressed happiness at seeing her enjoying herself, with sentiments like “You look so good!” and “Glad to see you enjoying life and smiling beautiful lady, good for you.”

A History of Overcoming Scrutiny

This display of self-assuredness arrives months after Osbourne publicly addressed and firmly rejected body-shaming critics, particularly during a period of profound personal grief. The commentary she faced often coincided with the difficult time following the passing of her father, the legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July 2025 at the age of 76.

In March, after accepting a posthumous lifetime achievement award on behalf of her father at the BRIT Awards alongside her mother, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly took to Instagram Stories to denounce the cruelty of online detractors. She articulated the pain of being targeted while already navigating immense sorrow. “There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,” Osbourne stated. “Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.” She emphasized her struggle, adding, “I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!”

Confronting Online Trolls

Earlier in the year, Osbourne had also called out online trolls following the London Fashion Week event. She shared a screenshot of a particularly harsh comment that read, “Looks like a dead body… she’s tooooo thin and fragile… Looks like she’s going to see her dad soon.” Osbourne reacted with dismay, writing, “Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are.”

Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, also voiced her support and addressed the criticism during an appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” in December. While discussing the comments Kelly had received regarding her weight loss, Sharon shared a video Kelly had posted. In the video, Kelly directly addressed those making disparaging remarks about her health and appearance, such as “Are you ill?” or “Get off Ozempic.” She stated, “My dad just died and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing that I have to live for is my family. I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life not the miserable side of my life. So to all those people, f— off.”

Sharon Osbourne’s Perspective

Sharon Osbourne acknowledged the immense difficulty her daughter had faced since Ozzy’s death. “She’s not happy, she lost her daddy. She can’t eat right now,” Sharon explained. She also offered a broader perspective on online behavior, suggesting that the internet can embolden those who are unhappy or insecure. “Jealousy and people’s perception of somebody else — how many times have we been wrong about somebody because of our perception?… A lot of effort goes into [hurtful comments]. I feel sorry for people. There’s something wrong with their lives. They’re not happy.”

A Lifelong Battle with Public Perception

Kelly Osbourne has spoken candidly about enduring public scrutiny regarding her appearance for much of her life. She recalled deliberately isolating herself during her pregnancy with her son, Sidney, now three, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Sid Wilson. Osbourne recounted her pregnancy experience in 2023, noting she spent “nine months in a house” with Ozzy, describing it as “the best pregnancy ever.”

“I have been body-shamed since I was 14, 15 by the media,” Osbourne revealed. “I was known as Ozzy’s chubby daughter. They’d always comment about my body and the way I looked. And I just wanted to be myself. I didn’t want to be the prettiest girl in the room, but I was penalized because I wasn’t. It’s one of those things where I am totally fine with the way that I look and am happy with myself and how I am as a person, but other people aren’t. And that’s on them. It’s not on me.” Her recent confident display on the yacht serves as a powerful testament to her resilience and evolving relationship with public perception and self-acceptance.
