Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville has sharply criticized members of the far-left wing of his party, asserting that some prioritize figures like Vladimir Lenin over American civil rights icons such as Martin Luther King Jr. Carville voiced these strong opinions during a recent episode of his podcast, “Politics War Room,” expressing frustration with what he perceives as an out-of-touch ideology prevalent among certain liberal circles.

Carville described a segment of liberal politicians as “overeducated little White turds” who exhibit a condescending attitude, believing they possess superior knowledge and understanding compared to others. During the podcast, Carville recounted an anecdote where an unnamed Democratic politician allegedly suggested that even prominent Black American leaders are complicit in American imperialism. “They think they know more than you do. They think their history is more glorious than [yours] was. They think that Lenin was a more glorious human being than Martin Luther King or Frederick Douglass. That’s what they really think,” Carville stated, emphasizing his belief that this perspective is fundamentally flawed and historically ignorant.
He issued a stern warning to Black voters and centrist liberals, urging them to approach such individuals with extreme skepticism. “If you don’t know that, you don’t know your history. And you should view these people with extreme, extreme skepticism, because they think they know what’s better for you than you know what’s better for you,” he cautioned. Carville added, “And they think they know your history better than you. You know their history. This a–hole don’t know what he’s talking about.”
