Authorities are urging the public to be on the lookout for Isabelle Johnson, 38, who is wanted in connection with the death of Jason Coulthart, 43. Coulthart’s remains were discovered buried in a shallow grave on June 25 in Freeport, Florida, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. The agency emphasized that their search for Johnson has not abated, even after a full month.

Key Identifying Features Revealed

Investigators now believe Johnson may have altered her appearance, potentially by changing her hair color and style. However, new information released by the sheriff’s office highlights several distinctive tattoos that could help the public identify her, regardless of any attempts to conceal her identity. These markings are considered crucial in the ongoing effort to locate her.

Specific Tattoo Descriptions

• A rose or flower tattoo is believed to be located on her left hand, extending from below the thumb towards the index finger.
• An unidentified tattoo is reportedly on her right ankle.
• A large scorpion tattoo is said to span from her left buttock down her left thigh.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office also reiterated the aliases Johnson is suspected of using. “Today, we’re releasing additional identifying features belonging to Isabelle, or Jessica, or Harley, or whatever name she’s going by today,” the agency stated. Previous reports have linked Johnson to several names, including Jessica Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush, Jessica Elaine Thrash, Jessica Dowdy, and possibly “Denise.” Authorities suspect Johnson may be relying on a network of individuals to help her evade capture, a tactic that has complicated the investigation.

Johnson has known connections to Walton and Okaloosa counties in Florida, as well as parts of Georgia and southern Alabama. The investigation into Johnson’s whereabouts began after Jason Coulthart was reported missing on May 24. He was last seen leaving the College Condominiums on East College Boulevard in Niceville. During the initial missing-person inquiry, detectives gathered information that ultimately led authorities to a property located off Sunset Lane in Freeport. A subsequent search warrant executed at the location resulted in the discovery of Coulthart’s body, buried in a shallow grave. The District 1 Medical Examiner’s Office later confirmed the identity of the remains through DNA analysis.

In connection with the case, five individuals have been arrested and charged with accessory to a capital felony after the fact. These individuals include Michael Ray White, Kathleen Morris, Bobbi Wagstaff, Martin Leaverton, and Sandra Leaverton. Reports indicate that Michael Ray White is accused of knowingly assisting Johnson in evading law enforcement. Kathleen Morris reportedly admitted to providing Johnson with transportation and supplies and to misleading investigators about Johnson’s presence at her home.

Sheriff’s Warning and Continued Pursuit

Walton County Sheriff Michael Adkinson has issued a stern warning to anyone continuing to harbor or assist Johnson. “If you give her a place to stay, help her hide, or lie for her, you will face consequences,” Adkinson previously stated. “This is a homicide case. We will not allow anyone to get in the way of this investigation.” The sheriff’s office remains committed to the pursuit, with a reward of up to $16,000 offered for information leading to Johnson’s arrest.
