Brooks Nader Dons Iconic Red Swimsuit for ‘Baywatch’ Reboot

Brooks Nader is giving fans an exclusive peek behind the scenes of the upcoming ‘Baywatch’ reboot, and she’s doing it in style. The model and actress recently shared a series of snapshots from the set, showcasing herself in the legendary red one-piece swimsuit that has become synonymous with the iconic franchise. The images offered a glimpse into the filming process, from Nader’s on-set preparations to moments captured with the crew.

A Modern Take on a Beach Classic

Nader, known for gracing the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, posted a mirror selfie to her Instagram stories, striking a pose in the striking red swimsuit. Beyond the personal snapshots, she also shared pictures of herself on the beach alongside crew members and behind-the-scenes glimpses from the hair and makeup trailer as she got ready to film. These behind-the-scenes peeks offer an exciting look at the production of FOX’s contemporary revival of the series that catapulted figures like Pamela Anderson to international stardom in the 1990s.

The actress is set to portray Selene, one of the lead lifeguards at Zuma Beach, in this new iteration of the beloved show. Filming for the reboot reportedly concluded on Saturday, with Nader re-sharing a post from her co-star Noah Beck, hinting at the project’s progression.

Nader’s Journey to ‘Baywatch’

Prior to her ‘Baywatch’ set updates, Nader had been sharing highlights from a Mediterranean holiday aboard a yacht. During her vacation, she showcased a variety of stylish swimwear and outfits, including a daring black dress that emphasized her décolletage and a chic high-cut black bathing suit. She was also seen sporting a red swimsuit paired with a black headscarf, demonstrating her versatile fashion sense.

The original ‘Baywatch’ series, which aired from 1989 to 1999, remains a pop culture touchstone, featuring a cast that included David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Nicole Eggert, and Donna D’Errico. Nader has openly discussed the weight of stepping into such a legacy, particularly in relation to Pamela Anderson’s iconic status.

Speaking previously about the role, Nader admitted to feeling the pressure. “Pamela Anderson was the muse of all muses, and she’s been on my vision board forever,” she shared. “So, we’re going to pay homage to Pam and all the muses of ‘Baywatch’ to the best of our ability. Big shoes to fill. Huge.”

A New Generation, New Stars

FOX’s ambition with this ‘Baywatch’ reboot is to introduce the classic beach drama to a fresh audience. Alongside Nader, the revival will feature influencers Noah Beck and Livvy Dunne in various capacities. Nader expressed optimism that their involvement will broaden the show’s appeal and reach.

“It is the most exciting thrill of a lifetime,” Nader enthused about the project. “I feel like there’s so much anticipation and everyone has to wait until January, but I think it’s only going to build, the momentum is going to build.”

Family Approval, One-Piece Style

In a lighthearted revelation, Nader shared a humorous reason why her family is particularly pleased with her casting in ‘Baywatch.’ It turns out her upbringing had specific sartorial guidelines regarding swimwear.

“Well, they’re pumped about ‘Baywatch’ because it’s a one-piece [swimsuit] — we weren’t allowed to wear two-piece bikinis growing up,” Nader explained. “So they’re like, ‘You’re following the family rules. You’re wearing a one-piece [swimsuit]. So, we’re all good.’” This quirky family rule adds a charming personal touch to her excitement for the show.

Anticipation for January 2027

The new ‘Baywatch’ series from FOX is slated to premiere in January 2027. With its blend of nostalgic callbacks and a fresh cast, the reboot aims to capture the spirit of the original while making its own mark on television.
