The trial of Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts mother accused of killing her three young children, is set to commence with opening statements on Monday. A jury of 12 women and six men was finalized on Thursday in Plymouth Superior Court. Clancy, 32, a former labor and delivery nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, has pleaded not guilty to three counts each of murder and strangulation. Her defense team does not dispute that she killed the children but intends to argue that she was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis, rendering her not criminally responsible for her actions.
