Victor Marx Secures GOP Nod for Colorado Governor in Tight Primary

Marine veteran Victor Marx has clinched the Republican nomination for Colorado governor, narrowly defeating state Senator Barbara Kirkmeyer in a closely contested primary election. The Associated Press officially declared Marx the winner on Thursday, following a June 30 contest that saw state Representative Scott Bottoms finish in a distant third place.
