Miller, who spent last season with the Washington Commanders, announced his move to Dallas via a social media post, sharing a doctored image of himself in a Cowboys uniform with the caption, “Dallas! Let’s make this one Special!”
The signing reunites Miller with former Broncos teammate Demarcus Ware, a Cowboys legend himself. Ware celebrated the move by posting a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Miller, accompanied by a smiling emoji and the hashtag “#CowboysNation.” Miller’s Super Bowl pedigree includes an MVP award from Super Bowl 50, earned during his time with the Denver Broncos.
During his tenure with the Commanders, Miller recorded nine sacks and 26 total tackles over 17 games. This move places him in direct competition against his former team, the Commanders, and other NFC East rivals as a member of the Cowboys.

Miller’s impressive resume boasts two First-Team All-Pro selections, and he heads into the upcoming season tied for ninth all-time in sacks with 138.5, alongside Demarcus Ware.
